Distinfields Properties was founded in 2003 to dually strive to acquire, renovate and develop residential housing and existing farmsteads, predominantly within the Peak District and Yorkshire area. 

Through organic growth our residential portfolio of converted domestic rental homes now comprises of multiple former historic farmhouses, cottages, stable blocks, barns, dovecotes, potting sheds and blacksmiths shops, all of which have been repurposed to provide high quality rental homes for families to enjoy. 

The current commercial portfolio includes public houses, cafes, retail spaces and warehouses throughout our region. We endeavour to attract and retain high quality tenants who ascribe to the same values as those we hold close. 

Our in-house team comprises the expertise of architects, designers, planning consultants, stone masons, blacksmiths, carpenters and other skilled craftsmen required to achieve the careful conservation and renovation of such buildings, simultaneously securing and enhancing their use and capacity for future generations. 

Distinfields Properties prides itself on never releasing any of our portfolio for sale. Solely, our focus is on building an estate to create long term rental homes to increase the overall property holding of the company. This approach ensures that each of our individual farmsteads are retained as such and hold the special characteristics that define them as important examples of the farming, countryside traditions that formerly bound them. We respect the heritage the properties have held through the ages since their original construction, and we strive to retain this in all of our restoration projects.
